Taapsee Pannu wants a 'basic and drama-free' wedding day, reveals her plans

Taapsee Pannu likes to keep her personal life and relationship with Danish badminton coach Mathias Boe as far away from the lime light as possible. The rather straight forward actress has seldom spoken about her love life and even more rarely about her wedding plans but in a recent interview she did a little of both.

Taapsee who is the cover star for the Brides Today magazine divulged her plans for her wedding day and said that she doesn’t plan on having 3 am nuptials or making her wedding an affair which goes on for days. The actor who features in a pastel shade lehenga on the cover also said that she wants to don neutral colours on her special day instead of picking gaudy shades.

“It needs to be basic and drama-free because there is enough drama in my professional life, and I don’t want it to trickle down into my personal life,” she was quoted saying.

Taapsee who seems to have put a lot of thought into what she really doesn’t want also spoke about the kind of hairdo and make-up she’d want. She told the magazine, “It (my hairdo) will be something that doesn’t look like I needed a village to get ready. My heart feels bad when I see these brides who have thick layers and layers of makeup on. How do you enjoy looking at yourself when you’re a different person in those pictures? These memories are not just for that moment, they are forever. You don’t want to look at those pictures and not recognise yourself as yourself.”

The Pink actress also took the opportunity to clarify that she never wanted to date anyone from the film industry and was happy to have found someone from outside her professional circuit in the early years of her career. Describing her relationship with Mathias she said, “Thankfully, very early on in my career, I met ended up meeting the person who I find comfort in being with…Our perspectives are so diverse and different that our conversations are still intriguing and interesting. The cultural exchange is still so beautiful, even after so many years.”

Taapsee and Mathias rarely ever take to social media to share mushy photos or drop adoring comments on each other’s posts. The actress has certainly never commented on when she plans to tie the knot but we are happy to gain some perspective from her regarding them same whenever it happens.
