Actor Ashish Vidyarthi was recently in the headlines for tying the knot at 60 with fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua. However, amidst this, his first wife Rajoshi aka Piloo shared a cryptic post on her social media handle. For the unversed, Rajoshi is an actress-singer and is the daughter of legendary Bengali actress Shakuntala Barua.

Talking about the same, in a now-expired Instagram story, Rajoshi had written, “The right one will not make you question what you mean to them. They will not do what they know hurts you. Remember that.” Not only this, but she shared another post that said, “May the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now. May the clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. You’ve been strong long enough, it’s time to start receiving your blessings. You deserve it.”

However, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Rajoshi broke her silence on her separation from Ashish Vidyarthi. She said, “Yes, we didn’t feel the need to tell people about it. We are not into media broadcasting, PR, and letting everyone know. We both are good friends and we have maintained it till now. These 22 years were the best part of my life. If you ask him, he will probably say the same thing. He has been an amazing partner and we have traveled together for years. We had a lot of common interests. Obviously, we people are bound to have different choices too but we never had a clash because, to the core, we are quite similar. We are still the same. Our son, we have a beautiful son.”

Speaking about her ex-husband remarrying again, she said, “I don't need to get married. I would have done it if required. That’s not my need. He needs a partner. We cannot hang a man because of his needs. He has found someone that’s a good thing.” Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajoshi have a son named Arth Vidyarthi who is currently working abroad.
