With the recent release of the 11th season of the hit TV series The Walking Dead, the star of the show Norman Reedus expressed his interest in playing the anti-hero from hell Ghost Rider. Reedus is known for his portrayal of Daryl Dixon and is one of the most popular characters on the show. He is set to have his own spinoff series once the main show ends.

The actor's interest in Ghost Rider is not recent. The actor has for years expressed his interest in the role and fans of the actor also believe he should take on the role. Previously actor Nicholas Cage had played the role in Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance both of which received mixed responses from fans and critics alike and Marvel has expressed an interest in a reboot.

In an interview with Comicbook, the actor said, "The Ghost Rider conversation has been coming up for years, and yeah, tell them to put me in it," Reedus went on to say. "I want to play Ghost Rider. That would be great. So, I don't know, call somebody, make that happen. I want to do it."

He added, "I want a fire skull. I want my face to turn into a fire skull and whip a chain around. That would be great... I got 12 [motorcycles]. I'd just pick one. I'll do it, yeah."

Fans on Twitter have released a ton of fan art featuring the actor as Ghost Rider. Dor the uninitiated Ghost Rider was an angelic spirit of justice that was tricked and corrupted into a spirit of vengeance. The character is known for his iconic look of having a flaming skull and riding a motorcycle along with having near god-like powers.
