    Actor Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat starrer Murder has completed 18 years since it was released on April 2, 2004. The super hit thriller, an adaptation of the French film The Unfaithful Wife, made Emraan and Mallika an overnight sensation for their bold intimate scenes.

    Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mahesh Bhatt , the film received an A certificate for its erotic and steamy scenes between Emraan and Mallika. Following its release, both the actors became quite popular for their sizzling chemistry that grabbed a lot of eyeballs. It is after this film Emraan got his ‘serial kisser’ image that he still unapologetically flaunts.

    As the film clocked 18 years, we recalled the time when Emraan had called kissing Mallika the worst. It happened on Karan’s Koffee with Karan show when the actor, accompanied by director Mahesh Bhatt, made the shocking revelation about his co-star. During the rapid-fire segment, the actor said his onscreen kiss with Mallika in Murder was his worst, and instead picked Jacqueline Fernandez and his kiss in the second installment, Murder 2 as his best. That’s not all, on being asked what he would find if he entered Mallika's bedroom, the actor replied, ‘An Idiot 's Guide to Succeed in Hollywood.’

    Later, Mallika also hit back at Emraan, saying that the snake she kissed in Hisss was a better kisser than her Murder co-star. Since then, the two share ice cold-vibes with each other.

    Meanwhile, the movie Murder revolves around a lonely housewife who bumps into her lover from her past and gets into a torrid affair. She later plans to end the affair after her husband finds out, however her lover gets killed in the process. Besides being a blockbuster, the movie songs also became hits and are still enjoyed by music lovers.
