Aamir Khan hints at big announcement on April 28, Will it be Laal Singh Chaddha teaser?

Actor Aamir Khan hinted at an announcement on April 28 in a new video that shows him playing cricket with a group of people on the terrace of a building. While the actor is awaiting the release of his upcoming Laal Singh Chaddha , his video left fans guessing if it is about the trailer.

On Friday, Aamir’s production team, Aamir Khan Productions posted a clip on Instagram in which the actor dressed in a grey T-shirt and pants can be seen batting. The moment he hits a shot, his team claps for him and that is when he comes in front of the camera and says, “28 ko main tumlogo ko ek kahaani sunane wala hu(I am going to tell you all a story on April 28).”

He again goes back to his spot and hits another ball. Then again says, "IPL me chance hai kya (Do I stand a chance in the Indian Premier League)?" As soon as the video went online, it intrigued fans and they wondered if the trailer or teaser of Laal Singh Chaddha is going to be released. While one user wrote, "Laal Singh Chaddha trailer on 28th." Another wrote, "Kya aa raha hai (What will be announced)? Teaser? Trailer? New film announcement?"

Laal Singh Chaddha is an adaptation of Tom Hank’s acclaimed Forrest Gump . The film is helmed by Secret Superstar fame director Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor , Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.

The film was earlier scheduled to release in April, however, the makers changed its release owing to its clash with Prabhas starrer Adipurush. Aamir released an official statement that read, "This is to announce that our film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will not be releasing on 14th April as planned. This is because we are unable to complete the film in time. The film will now be releasing on 11 Aug 2022 in theatres worldwide. We would like to thank Mr Bhushan Kumar , T Series and Om Raut and the entire team of Adipurush from the bottom of our hearts.""We would like to thank them for being so helpful and understanding, and for shifting the release date of their much awaited, Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan , so that Laal Singh Chaddha can come on 11 Aug 2022.”
