Bangarraju Trailer: Watch as Nagarjuna and son Naga Chaitanya team up for the first time
The Theatrical trailer for the upcoming supernatural drama Bangarraju has dropped just days before its release
Bangarraju which stars Nagarjuna sharing the screen with son Naga Chaitanya is set to release this weekend after many delays due to the pandemic. The final trailer for the movie has dropped and it is very interesting.
The movie is a supernatural drama and a sequel to the 2016 movie Soggade Chinni Nayana which so Nagarjuna plays Bangarraju a ghost who is sent back to earth to reconcile with his son.
The trailer gives a good idea of the tone and pacing that director Kalyan Krishna was going for, both Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are charismatic and have great screen presence.
While several films have opted out of the Sankranti race like Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam and Ajith Kumar starrer Valimai, the father-son duo who are collaborating on screen for the first time are determined to bring the festive feel to the cinemas with Bangarraju.
While there is a lot of buzz around the film it is yet to be seen how the raising Coivd-cases will impact the box office collections.
The movie is also said to have more than a few celebrity cameos from actors like Vedika, Seerat Kapoor, and Meenakshi Dixit.
Ramya Krishna is will also be reprising her role as Bangarraju's wife Satyabhama, joining them in supporting roles are Kriti Shetty, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore, and Govind Padmasoorya
The music is helmed by Anup Rubens and camera work by J Yuvaraj. Bangarraju will hit theaters on January 14th and so we won't have to wait too long to see if the sequel can repeat the magic of the original.
