Bholaa box office day 2: Ajay Devgn starrer sees a dip in collections, needs an improvement over the weekend

Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa had opened to a decent box office collection minting Rs 11.20 crore. All eyes were on how the action flick paces up in the upcoming days. Alas, the second-day collections of the movie ain’t that impressive as the numbers have taken a dip.

Talking about the same, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Bholaa saw a dip in box office collections on its second day. The reason given for the same was that Friday (March 31) was a working day whereas Thursday (March 30) was a Ram Navami holiday. The Ajay Devgn film minted Rs 7.40 crore on its second day and now the total collection amounts to Rs 18.60 crore.

The tweet further stated that the movie needs to do good business on the weekends especially on Saturday to establish a better foothold in the box office numbers. Adarsh further went on to say that what works against the film is the ongoing Ramadan festival wherein many audiences stay away from the theatres along with the beginning of IPL which works as a huge obstacle for many releases. However, if Bholaa manages to pick up pace over the weekend, things will definitely work toward its advantage. Take a look at the tweet.

The movie is an official Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film Kaithi. It also stars Tabu in the lead role and Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Amala Paul in pivotal roles. The movie marks Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial venture after U Me Aur Hum, Shivaay, and Runway 34. The movie has received mixed reviews from the netizens but its performances and especially the action sequences are being praised by the masses. Many audiences are gearing up for a sequel to the movie which is heavily based on the box office numbers it manages to garner.
