Recently at the launch event of her upcoming reality show Lock Upp , actress Kangana Ranaut made headlines when she snapped at a journalist. The reporter asked her to comment on a recent controversy where an influencer insulted Deepika Padukone ’s choice of outfit during Gehraiyaan promotions. Kangana got upset with this question and stated that she is here to defend those who can’t speak for themselves, while Deepika can very well defend herself. Kangana added that she can’t promote Deepika’s film at the event and asked the journalist to sit down.

Well, in her latest post on social media, Kangana has taken a dig at Deepika’s recently released film Gehraiyaan, which explores complicated relationships and the concept of infidelity. Along with a clip of the song Chand Si Mehbooba from the 1965 film Himalay Ki God Mein, Kangana wrote: “I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance... in the name of millennial/new age/urban movies don't sell trash pls... bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can save it... it's basic fact koi gehraiyaan wali baat nahi hai.”
