Ek Villain Returns: Tara Sutaria lends her voice for a track in Mohit Suri’s action thriller

Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria , who made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Student of the Year 2, is currently soaring high on the success of her recently released romantic action drama Tadap . The actress, who shared the screen with Ahan Shetty , won the audience over with her versatile performance and acting chops. She is now gearing up for her next project Ek Villain Returns, which is the spiritual sequel of filmmaker Mohit Suri ’s 2014 film Ek Villain. Well, after proving her mettle as a talented actor and graceful dancer, Tara is now all set to woo fans with her singing.

A report shared by Mid Day revealed that the actress has lent her voice for a track in the film, which also stars Arjun Kapoor , John Abraham and Disha Patani . Tara shared, “I always thought that I would act for a year or two, and then enter the space that I love the most—singing. The idea is to balance it out. I have never performed to Hindi music before because I have been a western and pop singer. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the songs that I have recorded.” Talking about the filmmaker Mohit Suri, she added, “It was easy to understand his vision for my character. We gelled well. It was great to create music with him.”

Well, Tara is a professional singer who has been singing since she was just 7 years old. She has sung in operas and has also performed various solo concerts around the world. During her debut on Karan Johar ’s chat show Koffee With Karan, she left the filmmaker as well as her SOTY 2 co-stars Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday in awe of her angelic voice when she sang Chura Liya Hai Tumne. Now that’s what an all-rounder looks like!
