Fighter Twitter Review: Netizens laud Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone's aerial actioner as 'Blockbuster material'

Siddharth Anand’s aerial actioner featuring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor has finally arrived in theatres. Going by the early reactions on microblogging site X (Formerly known as Twitter), the film is touted to be a ‘pure cinematic experience’ and ‘blockbuster material’. Several social media users have lauded the film as a solid action entertainer packed with the right amount of emotion, drama and patriotism.

After watching the movie, a user took to X and penned down his review that read, “#Fighter is fully entertaining paisa vasool full of emotional ride with patriotism no faltu pak love.. @iHrithik khatarnak .@deepikapadukone just wow go and watch this aerial action movie.” The second user said, “The film works so well due to the solid emotions in the story and the rip roaring action hits harder as it's backed by a tight story.”

The netizens appreciated the VFX and crackling chemistry of fresh pair Hrithik and Deepika in the film. “ The visuals are truly superb and the aerial action is definitely something that is being seen for the first time in India. Hrithik Deepika is a literal casting magic. It's a very fresh pair and the chemistry is built right from the script level which ensures that you get to see it on screen as well through their wonderful portrayals. Deepika is one major plus for the film and is terrific,” wrote a user. Another added, “#Fighter is a solid action entertainer that packs in an emotional quotient unlike most commercial flicks. The antagonist & his one note portrayal is a stumbling block. #HrithikRoshan however is the real deal as Patty, assisted further by DP & Anil Kapoor! These Air Dragons are willing to give it their all for the nation while going through the highs and lows of their internal and external battles. The film also has an ensemble cast including Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Talat Aziz, Sanjeev Jaiswal, Rishabh Sawhney, and Ashutosh Rana, among others. Backed by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the film is released across nations today, January 25, 2024.
