Gumraah trailer: Aditya Roy Kapur shines in double role; fans love his dialogue 'Insaan hu madam, detergent nhi'

The much-awaited trailer of Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Gumraah has finally unveiled by the makers on Thursday in Mumbai. Directed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar, the murder mystery drama stars Aditya in the double role while Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy feature in the role of police officers. The trailer is full of unexpected twists and turns, but fans are hooked on one of Aditya’s dialogues.

About two-minutes-thirty seconds long clip begins with a murder scene and introduces Mrunal who is investigating the case along with Ronit. The following scenes give a glimpse of two personalities played by Aditya. One of an ambitious employee and another of a rowdy street boy. Both of them are arrested as suspects and are interrogated in the murder case. In one of the interrogation scenes, Aditya tells Mrunal, “Insaan hu madam, detergent nahi, kitni baar safai pesh karu.” Watch the trailer here:

Sharing the trailer on his Instagram handle, Aditya wrote, “Har kahani ke do pehlu hote hain,Sach aur Jhooth; lekin iss kahani ke pehlu hain Gunaah aur Gumraah!” Soon after, several of his fans flooded the comment section with compliments. One of the users wrote, “Mera favourite hai - Detergent thodi hoon” Another commented, “Insaan hu madam, detergent nhi " lol” “Can't wait for this.. trailer giving me Goosebumps, ”read one of the comments. On the other hand, some of the netizens advised Aditya to not go for remakes. “No stop making remakes .It's a remake of South Indian movie thadam” Another commented, “After The Night Manager again it's a remake of Thadam you are a good actor choose stories which are fresh and new sorry for being brutally honest.”

Meanwhile, Gumraah is an official remake of the Tamil film, Thadam. Backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, the film is all set to hit screens on April 7, 2023.
