Heropanti 2 Trailer: Tiger Shroff clashes Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Ahmed Khan action drama

After teasing fans with posters of Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2, the makers have finally dropped the much-awaited trailer of the movie on Thursday. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film is the sequel to Sajid Nadiadwala’s franchise Heropanti and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.

About three minutes forty seconds long trailer has all ingredients to attract audiences to the cinemas. With hero Tiger Shroff’s high octane action sequences, villain Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s extraordinary acting skills, and AR Rahman’s exemplary music, the film seems to be a perfect entertainer for Eid this year.

The trailer opens with antagonist Nawazuddin who is introduced as a cybercrime mastermind Laila. His character trait in the scenes reminds of Heath Ledger from Hollywood flick Joker especially when he stabs a man with a pen and laughs loudly. In a few scenes, he can be seen applying lipsticks and nail paints presenting a totally different side of the villain Laila. Later, Tiger Shroff enters as Babloo Ranawat, who is believed to be the only man who can stop Laila.

Then the trailer shows some heady dose of action where Tiger leaps on top of cars and performs daredevil action stunts. This is followed by a few romance and drama sequences as female lead Tara Sutaria is introduced as Inaaya. Later, Tiger faces off Nawazuddin on a chessboard fight exchanging one-liners. Towards the end, Tiger is seen fighting with Shaolin monks with his father Jackie Shroff’s movie Hero’s signature tune playing in the backdrop. It ends with the Heropanti franchise signature dialogue, 'Sabko aati nahi meri jaati nahi...’.

Bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Rajat Arora, Heropanti 2 has been mounted on a huge budget and promises never-seen-before action. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 29, 2022.
