Jugjugg Jeeyo: Anil Kapoor compares on-screen wife Neetu Kapoor to ‘vegetarian sherni’ in a chat with Varun Dhawan; watch

After a hiatus of 9 long years, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor is all set to return to the silver screen with Jugjugg Jeeyo. Fans are eagerly looking forward to her big Bollywood comeback and are equally excited about her pairing with the evergreen Anil Kapoor . The two will be portraying the role of husband and wife Bheem and Geeta in the upcoming comedy drama, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani as an unhappily married couple headed for divorce.

Well, in a new dialogue promo shared by the makers, on-screen father and son duo Anil and Varun can be seen discussing how tough married life can be. In the hilarious clip, Varun aka Kukoo says, “Shaadi wagera naa bohot mushkil cheez hoti hai.” As they share a drink, Anil completely agrees with his son and says that it’s like living in a vegetarian lioness’ cave. He explains, “Woh tumhe khaayegi nahi, kyunki woh vegetarian hai. Lekin darati rahegi, dahaare maar maar ke (She won’t eat you because she’s vegetarian. But she will keep roaring and scaring you).”

In the trailer, which received a big thumbs up from fans, we learnt that Varun and Kiara want to tell the former’s parents that they want a divorce. But when Varun tries to talk to his father, he realizes the latter also wants to separate from his wife. Also starring Manish Paul, Prajakta Koli and Varun Sood in pivotal roles, the Raj Mehta directorial is all set to arrive in theatres on 24thJune.
