Kajol has unique style of wishing hubby Ajay Devgn on his 53rd birthday

As actor Ajay Devgn celebrates his 53rd birthday on Saturday, his wife Kajol has come up with an interesting way of wishing the actor. Known for her quirky sense of humour, Kajol wished him Gudi Padwa, instead of wishing him his birthday.

Taking to Instagram, the Fanaa actor took out an old photo of herself with her husband Ajay from an award ceremony that they attended together. She captioned it as, “Me:- Gudi Padwa neet bol gadhwa! Ajay:- Happy Birthday to bol de. @ajaydevgn #happynavratri #gudipadwa #happybirthday."

Talking about Kajol and Ajay Devgn, the couple recently celebrated 23 years of married life. On the occasion, Kajol had shared a monochrome photo with Ajay and captioned it, "Running, walking, limping, kicking, screaming here we are 23 years later. Do we deserve a medal or a look of awe? Either way since we both know how u feel about award functions, I'm taking a bow now." To which Ajay Devgn had an adorable reply, "I got my award 23 years ago,” he wrote.

Also, Ajay’s close friend and actor Akshay Kumar wished him a heartfelt birthday note. He took to Twitter and posted a photo featuring him and Ajay from the Sooryavanshi sets. In the caption, he hoped Ajay’s upcoming directorial venture Runway 34 becomes a ‘runaway success’. “Be it acting or direction, may you continue acing it brother. Hope Runway 34 is a runaway success! Happy birthday @ajaydevgn” he wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR . Currently, he is awaiting the release of Runway 34 which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Rakulpreet Singh. The film is directed and produced by Ajay himself and is slated to release on April 29. Also, the actor has recently made his digital debut with the web show Rudra : The Edge of Darkness, the Hindi remake of the British series Luther.
