Kapil Sharma gets a special birthday wish from Akshay Kumar, team TKSS celebrates on sets

As comedian Kapil Sharma turned a year older today, his friends from the film and television industry poured in warm wishes on his 42nd birthday. One of his close friends and superstar Akshay Kumar has a special wish for him on the special day.

Sharing a priceless picture with Kapil on Twitter, the Sooryanshi actor wrote,” I hope iss saal tere Lokhandwala hi nahi Bandra mein bhi bahot saare ghar ho Always wishing you the best in life brother, Happy birthday @KapilSharmaK9.” In the photo, Akshay is seen kissing the comedian on his cheeks.

The team of The Kapil Sharma Show also celebrated the comedian’s birthday on the sets with special guests and actors Mukesh Rishi , Abhimanyu Singh, Yashpal Sinha, and Ashish Vidyarthi . In the recently released promo, comedian Krushna Abhishek as Sapna can be seen hugging Mukesh and jokingly saying that her 'chaava' Mukesh has come to take her. She announces him as her 'garam' patni as she dances with him. Kapil interrupts saying, it is 'dharam'.

Earlier, the reports were doing rounds about the TKSS going off-air. The sources close to the show that because Kapil will be busy on his US and Canada tour, there might be a break. However, there are no plans of makers to pull the show off the air for now.

Meanwhile, Kapil is currently juggling between the shooting of his upcoming movie with Nandita Das and hosting the popular comedy show. In February, he announced his project which will be backed by Applause Entertainment . He had written, “Applause Entertainment & Nandita Das Initiatives are thrilled to present the most exciting collaboration of the year. Writer-Director-Producer Nandita Das teams up with Kapil Sharma in a never seen before avatar of a food delivery rider. Kapil will be joined by Shahana Goswami as the female lead. Filming soon!
