    Actor Sanjay Dutt feels that Bollywood should go back to its roots and filmmakers should start making films like Sholay and Zanjeer. The actor is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming film KGF Chapter 2 co-starring Yash .

    In a recent interview with Goodtimes, the Munnabhai actor gave his opinion on the changing content of the film and audiences' reactions to the same. He opined that despite changing trends, the mass entertainers are here to stay relevant. As per him, action-packed movies with a lot of heroism will always be part of the industry.

    Further, the versatile actor went on to suggest that Bollywood should go to what its roots were and take inspiration from 70s movies like Sholay and Zanjeer and his movies such as Vaastav: The Reality and Khal Nayak.

    Earlier, Sanjay was also asked if he will be comfortable romancing significantly younger actresses on-screen He replied by saying that he believes in moving with time and embracing his age. He said the actors need to come to terms with their growing age. "Arrey ab hai to thodi main alia bhatt ke sath romance karunga. (I cannot be romancing Alia Bhatt at this age). Ya so I mean it’s like that, you got to move on.” he added. He was also asked when his fans would get to witness his Munna Bhai’s magic again, to which, he direct the question to filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani .

    Meanwhile, Sanjay is making his South debut with south superstar Yash’s KGF Chapter 2, the sequel to the superhit film KGF. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film features him as a mighty antagonist Adheera. The film also stars Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj , Malvika Avinash among others in key roles. The film is set to release on April 14 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
