KGF Chapter 2: Yash lauds Sanjay Dutt for dedicating himself to the film despite being diagnosed with cancer

Back in the year 2020, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with lung cancer. His fans were heartbroken and the entire nation prayed for his speedy recovery. He underwent treatment but despite what was going on with his health, he returned to the sets of his film KGF Chapter 2 to respect his professional commitments. Last year, Dutt beat cancer. Well, the much awaited trailer of the period drama was finally launched yesterday in a grand event at Bengaluru, which was attended by lead actor ‘Rocking Star’ Yash , Sanju baba, Raveena Tandon and the entire team of KGF.

During this mega star-studded event, Yash thanked Sanjay in an emotional speech, for dedicating himself to the project despite his health and shared how he was scared for the Vaastav actor during shoot. The South superstar shared, “Sanju sir, you are a fighter sir, you’re a fighter. True fighter! I have witnessed it up close. You know, the.. I know he's seen life, we all know that. All sorts of this thing and he's so down to earth and humble.. He calls me Yash Bhai sometimes and I said sir. He's seen life, that's maturity, seasoned personality. Sir, the way he commited himself to this project, with what all he went through in his health, I think all of us are aware of it.”

He went on to recall, “The way, you know, dedicated himself in those action sequences, specially I was scared I had told everybody you know, no does this.. He came and he said 'Yash please don't insult me, I will do it, I want to do it, I want to give my best' and I think he's taken the movie to another level. And, I don't know sir, you're looking stunning! This is how a fan would want to see you on screen. And we all are your fan sir. In movie, yeah I don't let that thing.. mera woh rahega but in personal life, huge fan! Thank you sir.”

Hearing Yash’s heartfelt speech will surely bring a smile to your face. While we are loving this bromance, we can’t wait to see the two superstars battle it out on the silver screen in KGF Chapter 2, which arrives in theatres on 14thApril.
