Kabir Singh was a game-changer in Shahid Kapoor ’s Bollywood career. The film received mixed reviews, but audiences were left in awe of the actor’s performance. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see him shine on screen once again in his upcoming film Jersey , the Hindi remake of Nani’s 2019 Telugu sports drama. But that’s not the only Shahid project that his followers are looking forward to! Just last month, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar announced his next film, tentatively titled Bloody Daddy , which will feature the actor in a never seen before avatar.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Shahid opened up about the same and shared that he is exhausted because there’s a lot of action this time and the film is quite intense. He was quoted saying, “I just realised that the genre, action, is a very tiring genre. Right now, I'm feeling exhausted. We've already shot 65-70 per cent of the film and I just have a little bit left in Jan. So, I'll be done with that by the first week of Feb. So, it's been a quickie. I really enjoyed my time.”

The actor, who made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Ishq Vishk, further revealed that this action entertainer will be very different from anything he or the filmmaker have ever done before. Shahid explained that although the project is accessible and is a commercial film, the team is trying something quirky and fresh this time. Well, this information will surely pique the interest of many fans! Shahid clearly has a very varied and exciting line up of projects. Other than Jersey and Bloody Daddy, he will also be seen in Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s much awaited web series on Amazon Prime Video , co-starring Raashi Khanna.
