Spider- Man: No Way Home beats Scream and is still No. 1 at UK box office for the 5th week in a row

The movie Scream which is a reboot of the classic horror franchise had finally dethroned the mighty Spider-Man : No Way Home this weekend by earning $30 million at the North American box-office.

No Way Home came in a close second with $25 million, despite this in the UK the movie still remains on top for the past five weeks.

The movie earned 4.3 million dollars this week and thus earned a total of 114 million dollars in total in the U.K. beating movies like Titanic and Star Wars: The Last Jedi to become the seventh highest-grossing movie in the country with the only competition remaining being Avengers: Endgame .

While it's also true Spider-Man: No Way Home has not had any major competition from the other major releases of the time with movies like Keanu Revees starrer The Matrix Resurrections and The King's Man failing to make an impact on the box office.

Scream has managed to secure second place in the UK with 3.2 million dollars, so without any major competition it won't be surprising if the movie remains on top for a sixth weekend

Spider-Man: No Way Home directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland , Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch , Willem Dafoe, Jamie Fox, Alfred Molina, and Benedict Wong.
