Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Apurva’s first glimpse was unveiled at the Red Fort in New Delhi during the Luv Kush Ramlila event on October 23, 2023. The upcoming film is a drama-thriller movie based on the life of Apurva, a clever and intriguing detective who becomes entangled in a complex web of lies, secrets, and a catastrophic story. The movie also stars Dhairya Karwa, Abhishek Banerjee and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

At the Apurva's launch event, Tara stated that it was the role of a lifetime for her. “I’m eagerly awaiting audiences to see my transformation in Apurva as we launch our trailer very soon!” she had said. Apurva will stream on Disneyplushotstar on November 15, 2023.

Meanwhile, Tara made her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Ananya Pandey. Since then, she has appeared in films like Tadap and Marjaavan among others. She was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Ek Villain Returns and Ahmad Khan’s Heropanti 2. Both films failed to create an impact at the box office. Apart from this, some of Tara's upcoming projects include KTina, produced by Ekta Kapoor and written by Raaj Shaandilya. As per reports, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor and will be released in 2023.
