Warner Bros officially announces that Dune: Part Two has started production in Budapest

    While production started a week ago in Budapest, the studio has officially announced that production has commenced for Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two.

    Warner Bros has officially announced that the sequel to 2021s Dune has started production, this is a week after a picture from the sets leaked online.

    The official Twitter post was not revealing simply a picture of a clapboard, it does appear to give us a first look at the fairly basic title logo along with the tagline "Long Live the Fighters!" This comes from the Fremen mantra, Ya hya chouhada Muad'Dib (long live the fighters of Muad'Dib).

    The post also contained details of the entire cast as well as the official synopsis of the movie.

    The movie will pick after he events of the part one and will follow the young Paul Atreides and his quest to regain control of the planet of Arrakis. 

    The cast of the movie includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya , Charlotte Rampling, Javier Bardem, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler , Christopher Walken, and Souheila Yacoub.

    Dune: Part Two is set to release on November 17th, 2023.
