Yodha Teaser: Sidharth Malhotra creates a turbulence with his badass commando avatar; watch

The last few years have been quite fruitful for Sidharth Malhotra as he dabbled in the action genre. He won several hearts as well as awards with Shershaah, based on the life of Indian army officer Vikram Batra. He went on to do a decent job as an undercover agent in Mission Majnu before taking the digital platform by storm as Rohit Shetty’s newest cop in Indian Police Force, the first web series in the filmmaker's cop universe. Well, Sidharth is now all set to shine as an off-duty commando in Yodha. The much awaited teaser is now here and it is far different from anything we have seen Sidharth in so far.

When it was announced that Sidharth will be seen as a commando in this Dharma Productions film, many expected his character to be similar to roles he played in Shershaah and Indian Police Force. However, now that the teaser is out, we can assure you that the action as well Sidharth’s badass avatar is very different from his past projects. The one minute long action packed video begins with a plane hijack by terrorists. We are then introduced to Sidharth, who dives headfirst to attack the terrorists and save the passengers. The stunts he performs in this short but exciting teaser will leave you on the edge of your seat!

We also got glimpses of Disha Patani as an air hostess while Raashii Khanna seems to be on the ground staff or the police force. We need some more clarity and hope the two beauties get a longer screen time in the trailer. But so far, netizens are quite impressed with Sidharth and his action, which has caused a turbulence all across the internet. In the comment section of the teaser, one happy fan gushed, “Yodha looks big potential hit from here.. From shershaah to yodha Sid never disappoints ❤”, whereas another comment read: “this man is born to play this kind of characters.”

Well, we can’t wait to witness Sidharth as a commando in Yodha on 15th March.
