Varun Dhawan, whose Badrinath Ki Dulhania is up for release this Holi, is presently shooting for Judwaa 2. The latest news is that the 29-year-old actor has signed a dark film with Shoojit Sircar. As per sources, “The actor and the filmmaker have been in discussions for a while and have finally locked the script. Varun has loved what Shoojit has envisioned.” “It’s not another light-hearted, feel-good film. Rather, it’s quite dark. And more than dark, it’s heartbreaking. Varun starts shooting for this as-yet untitled film once he’s done with Judwaa 2,” the source added.

Varun’s prominence had helped Badlapur create ripples at the box office.
