It's Not Your Typical Double Role Film, More To It: Sidharth Malhotra

Playing a double role was normal and usual in Bollywood back in 90s as almost every big star in the industry has played a double role in his career. However, seems like the trend is back in the town with three of the current generation actors playing double role in their upcoming flicks. Actors Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are all prepped up for twin avatar in their next films.

While Arjun Kapoor’s next is ‘Mubarakan’ where he will be seen in a double role, Varun Dhawan will play Raja and Prem in ‘Judwaa 2’, and Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing Gaurav and Rishi in ‘A Gentleman’. At an event, Sid said, "Arjun is playing a double role and so is Varun. It's the season of double roles. Our film ('A Gentleman ') is not a typical double role film. It's about mistaken identity. There are two different parts with distinctive characteristics".

Talking about his role from 'A Gentleman', the Student Of The Year actor said, "I enjoyed Rishi's part as I like action. I also enjoyed doing Gaurav's part as he is a simple man. From within I am more like Rishi. I am not as short-tempered as him, but I am adventurous". Helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the flick is slated for a release on August 25.
