A Japanese Pirates of the Caribbean 5 trailer spoils the return of Keira Knight...

We knew Orlando Bloom was returning for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, or Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge as it is known in India. We also knew the film would introduce his son, played by Brenton Thwaites. But did you know Keira Knightley was returning as well?

A new Japanese trailer for the fifth Pirates film, starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, contains a brief shot of Knightley, who played Elizabeth Swann in the first three films.

While that one shot of her is all that we get, it makes sense for her to return considering that both her husband and son are in the movie.

In addition to spoiling the return of Keira Knightley, the trailer also has a few extra moments of action that we hadn’t seen before. There’s more Johnny Depp - which the US marketing is shying away from - more quips, and more glimpses at naval warfare.

Now it’s time to wait and see if that Beatles/Rolling Stones crossover is possible with that rumoured Paul McCartney cameo.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is scheduled for a May 26 release.
