A standing ovation for Rohit Bal at LFWs grand finale

Mumbai, March 7 -- Master designer Rohit Bal put up a scintillating show last night with a live orchestra and models playing violins at the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week which was held in the open for the first time.At the finale of the five-day extravaganza, held on the lawns of a five-star hotel in suburban Mumbai, Bal showcased a collection that was a blend of Indo-Western outfits for women and men.The fashion guru said, "This is an emotional moment for me as my work has been appreciated by all...and that I have not let anyone down. When you get a standing ovation from the audience I don't think there is anything better than this".Praising the collection of Bal, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal said, "I must say this is Rohit's best-ever collection and finale till date".Though, Bal has not invited any Bollywood actors to walk the ramp, but Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Rampal, his wife Meher, Suzane Roshan, Rahul Dev, Simone Singh and Siddharth Mallaya came to support the designer.
