Aamir Khan Promotes Dangal In China

Aamir Khan’s blockbuster movie, Dangal, became the highest grossing film of all times in India with raking in 384 Crore at the box-office and 20 Crore through digital platforms. The movie is a biopic of national level wrestler Mahavir Phogat and how he trained his two daughters in the same sport to bring India's first ever gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. After running successfully in the Indian theatres, the flick is all set to release in China on May 5.

For the promotions, a rare feat for an Indian film actor, superstar Aamir Khan, is in China. Dangal was screened at the Beijing International Film Festival that happened on April 16. The film in China is being titled as Shuaijiao Baba. The actor enjoys a massive fan following in China too and got a moving reception at the Film Festival.

3 Idiots was his first film that was screened in China and then Dhoom 3. PK broke box-office records in the country earning 100 million Yuan (USD 16.70 million approx). Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the flick is expected to break PK’s record at the box-office.
