She Is Exactly The Kind Of Person I Wanted As A Life Partner: Aashka Goradias Fiance, Brent Goble

Television actor Aashka Goradia announced her wedding date on Twitter on Friday, and her fans, who had been waiting for the announcement, immediately went into celebratory mode. Though Aashka has spoken extensively about the wedding preparations, her fiance, Brent Goble, has, so far, stayed away from limelight. But as the couple gears up for the December 3 nuptials, Brent excitedly shares details and talks about why he fell for Aashka.

“She is exactly the kind of person I was looking for as a life partner. We both complement each other in many ways. Aashka has brought patience in life. She has an open mind set given her experience. But the most important thing is that we both have strong family values,” says Brent, who is a weapon instructor and business professional in US.

The wedding will be a traditional Gujarati affair that is expected to take place in Aashka’s hometown Ahmedabad. “My parents and family are looking forward to the same. They are all geared up to wear traditional attire. I think I will look the best in my groom’s outfit. In fact I am trying to make my family learn Garba and other Indian dance forms. We will rock the dance floor,” he says.

Ask him about their honeymoon and Brent says they are still debating where to go. The places they are considering are New Zealand, Bali, Greece, Australia, Thailand, among others.

Brent shares that his parents liked Aashka “within five minutes of meeting her”. “It would be an understatement to say that my parents supported us because they literally pushed me to give my relationship with Aashka a shot. She is truly someone special. In fact now my mom, Aashka, and my brother’s wife are constantly messaging each other… I mean girl talk. And I, on the other hand, have developed a strong bond with her younger brother,” he adds.

Brent started dating Aashka in June 2016, and decided to leave the States for India in September the same year. Ask about his professional plans and Brent, who participated in dance reality show Nach Baliye 8 with Aashka, says, “I am trying to learn Hindi before everything else. (Laughs) Aashka and I want to continue working with NGOs. We enjoy travelling a lot so we were thinking of having our own travel show soon,” he signs off.
