Abhay Deol stands for crooners, sports black eye as a sign of protest

Actor Abhay Deol has come up in support of the singers of Hindi cinema, speaking against recording labels refusing to pay royalty to them. The actor sported a black eye at an event, somewhere taking on the giant record label (T-Series) of the music industry for not releasing the music of his upcoming flick, One By Two yet which is set for its release on January 31.

The 37-year-old actor has also urged Bollywood filmmakers and actors to support his voice and has asked the singers not to give a way to such clauses which ask musicians to sign a contract with the record labels. Abhay will be seen with his off-screen love, Preeti Desai in the flick for the first time. Too many ‘first things’ are happening for the actor via this film; turning producer is also the one. May the flick turn out to be there first hit together.
