Abhishek Bachchan On 2 Year Break: I Needed To Reboot

Junior Bachchan aka Abhishek Bachchan took a break of two year from films to concentrate on his sports ventures. Abhishek had travelled across the country with his Kabaddi and football team. The actor has just wrapped up his upcoming movie ‘Manmarziyan’ which is also starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal .

Abhishek spoke to Film Companion about it and said, “I didn’t do any work for 2 years in terms of acting. I needed to reboot. I felt there was a sense of complacency that had crept into my work ethic. I was making more money than I had in my entire career but you have to ask yourself, is this what you want to be remembered for? I just need to go back to doing work that scares me”.

Abhishek took a good break but there won’t be another long break as he has tasted the blood again. Moreover, ‘Manmarziyan’ is scheduled to release on September 7. Further, as per reports, Abhishek has also signed Priyadarshan ’s next film which is tentatively titled Rang Birangi.
