Aditya Chopra's Befikre To Premiere At Dubai International Film Festival

Latest reports coming from the Bollywood town includes that Aditya Chopra's upcoming film Befikre will be premiered at the 13th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) on December 8. The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles, is one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. The romantic drama, which is shot majorly in the City of Love - Paris, revolves around the story of a couple who are in a casual relationship, but are pledged to never fall in love with each other.

Chairman of DIFF, Abdulhamid Juma, has himself confirmed the news of YRF film Befikre being premiered at DIFF. He was quoted as saying, "The World Premiere of the eagerly anticipated Befikre from Yash Raj Films and directed by the incredibly talented Aditya Chopra following a hiatus of seven years is a major scoop for DIFF. This refreshing new film will appeal not just to the expatriate community but also to Arabs who have a strong affinity for Bollywood films”.

YRF films including Kabul Express, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl also had their world premiere at earlier editions of DIFF. Nelson D'souza of YRF has stated, “Yash Raj Films and DIFF have a long history and we're privileged and honoured to have been a part of this remarkable journey with DIFF from the beginning. We're delighted that the Festival has selected Befikre as it is a film very close to our hearts...”.
