It is well known that B-Town's most eligible bachelor Ranbir Kapoor is all set to step into Sanjay Dutt's shoes in Rajkumar Hirani's biopic on Sanju baba. However, so far the makers have not yet finalised the lead actress. According to PinkVilla, Sanjay Dutt is keen on having Katrina Kaif for playing the role of his wife, Manyata Dutt.

Munna Bhai himself is making all the efforts in the development of the project. The filmmakers have even talked to the Ek Tha Tiger actress and given her the script. Now, everyone is waiting for her final nod. Ranbir and Katrina are currently busy shooting for Anurag Basu's upcoming comedy-drama 'Jagga Jasoos'.

Fans of the much in love couple were really disheartened after knowing that they had decided to part their ways, nearly after six years. The positive point is that both of them have never let their break-up get in the way of their professional life. It is the first time that Ranbir is working with the talented director Rajkumar Hirani, though he played a cameo role in Aamir Khan starrer ‘PK’.
