After SRK, Alia Bhatt To Romance Akshay Kumar?

Alia Bhatt is riding high on success especially after bagging films opposite top-notch actors of Bollywood. The actress is currently shooting for Gauri Shinde’s next in which she will be sharing screen space with SRK. After King Khan, now the actress will most probably romance Akshay Kumar in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming directorial which is based on Sheeja Jose’s novel ‘Gone with The Bullet’.

According to Sheeja, Akshay Kumar suits best in the role. She revealed while in an interview with a leading daily, “I think Sriram will agree that Akshay Kumar would be perfect as the brooding, dark assassin and Alia Bhatt as the new-age girl in love. It’s a hatke romance against the backdrop of bullets”.

The film will be helmed by Sriram Raghavan, who has directed films like Badlapur, Johnny Gaddaar and Ek Hasina Thi in the past. About the story of the film, the author said, “The story follows an 18-year-old girl who falls in love with a 40-some thing assassin”. Considering the age difference of the characters, it seems that Akshay and Alia will be perfect choice for the film.
