Ajay Devgn will remove objectionable content from Son of Sardaar

Bowing to the pressure of Sikh organizations, actor-producer Ajay Devgn agreed to remove the controversial scenes and dialogues from his upcoming movieSon of Sardaar. The superstar took the decision after meeting a five-member panel of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Sikhs' highest body on religious affairs, in Amritsar yesterday. "I have explained everything about the film and the context of portions about which there were objections from SGPC panel members. We will remove such portions," Devgn informed. He added, "But I have no control over film promos which are already out on the Internet". The actor also said he didn’t want to hurt the sentiments of Sikhs. "When the film focuses on Punjabis and Sikhs, how can I hurt their sentiments," asked Devgn.
