Akshay Kumar to become Ram with Raavan Vadh at Red Fort

The BOSS star Akshay Kumar is coming to New Delhi not for the promotion of his upcoming flick but he will be amongst Delhites this time to celebrate India’s religious festivalDussehra. The superstar has been called byLuv-Kush Ram Leela committee organizers for Raavan wadh and this will be the first time, The Luv-Kush Ram Leela that takes place every year at Lal Qila (Delhi), will be seeing a Bollywood star instead of any political biggie.

When inquired about the authenticity of the news, Akshay commented, "It is an honor to be a part of such a momentous occasion. I thank the organisers for inviting me. Delhi holds a special place in my heart since I grew up there. It will be indeed special to do the Raavan Vadh there." A committee member also talked in the same, “Akshay is very honored to be part of one of India`s biggest and most loved traditions and has accepted the invitation. Though he has been busy promoting his upcoming film BOSS he has specially taken time out and will be present in Delhi on the day of Dussera for Raavan Wadh.”Dussehra is a festival whereLord Ram kills Raavan on the 10th day of Navratri occassion. Akshay starrer BOSS is set to release on October 16.
