Alia Bhatt wishes her dad Mahesh Bhatt to direct her, but finds it impossible

Student of the Year fame Alia Bhatt has expressed her wish to work under her father Mahesh Bhatt’s direction in a movie. She said, “I would love to be directed by my father, but I think he won't return to direction for anybody. That's not possible.” Mahesh has not directed a film since 1999. His last directorial piece was Kartoos and since then he has stayed away from filmmaking.

Alia will next be seen in Highway. The film will be Imtiaz Ali’s directorial piece. It will be out on February 21. The actress will appear in a de-glamorised avatar in the flick. After this, the 20-year-old newbie will appear in 2 States opposite Arjun Kapoor under Abhishek Varman’s direction. We hope Alia’s wish of working with her dad comes true as her dad has created some remarkable movies by being behind the camera, like Zakham, Arth, Saaransh and many more.
