After playing the loving and hardworking father in the superhit 'Dangal' who had firm belief that his daughters are no less than boys, actor Amir Khan will again be seen in a movie playing the encouraging father. But this time the actor will not be seen encouraging his daughters for sports. The movie will be a 50-second film and will focus on women empowerment.

The short film will be directed by none other than the Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari. The movie is a part of Star Plus' 'Nayi Soch' campaign and focus on social issue of gender inequality in India. Created by Ogilvy, the movie will show Amir Khan as a middle-class father from small town.

Just like 'Dangal', the movie will show Mr. Perfectionist as a progressive father, named Gurdeep Singh, who is confident enough that his daughters will take ahead the legacy of his business. Appreciating the initiative, the 51-year-old actor said, "The film is a tribute to all the proud dads and their daughters who became the beacons of change." Amir will be next seen playing the role of musician in 'Secret Superstar'.
