Superstar Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he tried very hard to convince the music director of 1979 film ‘Mr Natwarlal’ for not making him sing a song in the flick. He also said that the recording process was a nightmare for him and took long hours to record the song. Amitabh used his blog to share the experience with Rajesh Roshan, the music director of ‘Mr Natwarlal’.

He shared, "I was given the sudden news that I was to sing for the first time my own background song 'Mere Paas Aao...' and terrified with the proposition, had battled long hours with the director and the music director that I would not do it because I simply could not”. Big B has given his voice to many songs like ‘Jumma Chumma’, ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’ and 'Holi Khele Raghuveera’.

He also added, "But when it got over, the eminent sound recordist Ghosh babu told me that I should sing more often, and how I had accepted that with a large pinch of salt!!! Not realising how years later and even now the singing continues, giving pain to all its listeners”. Recently, Piku star was seen singing ‘Piddly Si Baatein’ in Shamitabh.
