Anushka Sharma’s ‘Phillauri’ To Release Next Year, Confirm Producers

Here comes good news for all Anushka Sharma’s fans as her home production flick is slated for release on March 31 next year. The movie, ‘Phillauri’, will release ahead of Vaisakhi 2017. The film features Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma, Mehreen Pirzada and Anushka in the lead roles. Debutant director, Anshai Lal will helm the venture.

The producers of the movie revealed the release date of the rom-com film. They said, “We are very happy to announce the release date of Phillauri – a romantic, fun film with loads of desi colour. It will release on 31st March 2017. Currently, the post production work is in full swing and we are excited about the way the film is shaping up”.  

The movie is an upcoming Indian Bollywood romantic comedy which will be produced by Fox Star Studios and Anushka Sharma’s home production, Clean Slate Films. It has been shot in Punjab amid beautiful and lively locations. The movie has been written by Anvita Dutt.
