Arjun Kapoor To Don Khaki In His Next?

Arjun Kapoor is undoubtedly climbing the stairs of success quite fast. Last seen in ‘Ki & Ka’, which released this past April, the Most Wanted Munda is currently shooting for Anees Bazmee's upcoming movie ‘Mubarakan’, which is slated for release on July 28. The latest we hear about the actor is that he might soon feature as a Haryanvi cop in director-writer Dibakar Bannerjee's next.

Touted to be a dark thriller set in North India, Bannerjee's project is expected to start rolling sometime mid-next-year. Though, Arjun is yet to sign the dotted line, he is expected to join the sets of the flick after completing the wedding comedy he is currently occupied with. A source close to the development was quoted as saying, “Dibakar is writing the final draft. Once it's ready and a final narration is done, the deal can be officially sealed”.

The yet-untitled movie will be shot across 60 days and is expected to feature Arjun alongside two other leading actors. On a related note, ‘Mubarakan’ stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty. The Anees Bazmee directorial is slated for release on July 28, next year.
