“Because of my past, I’ll never win an award,” – Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone may have been getting accolades for her recent performance in Ek Paheli Leela, but the porn star turned actress believes that her past would never let her win an award. The actress goes on record to state that people here don’t like her and wouldn’t want to see her winning awards. Sunny told this to HT.

“I don’t ever expect to be nominated or to win an award, ever, I don’t. Because of my background and who I am, I don’t think I will ever win it. There are a lot of people in this industry who don’t like me and wouldn’t want to see me win anything at these big events or fraternity or whatever,” she said. The Baby Doll though admitted that she would love attending these awards and socialize more. “I love going to award functions. I like dressing up, and my husband (Daniel Webber) also enjoys attending these events. We have a lot of fun. And I had made a resolution this year, to get out of the house and socialize more,” she added.

Sunny added by saying that watching people win awards makes her happy especially the ones she has watched herself. “I get excited to see people win awards and especially for those movies that I have seen, like Queen (2014) got an award in some category and I was so happy that it won, only because I had seen it. Then a song featuring Salman and Jacqueline won an award, and when it was announced, we were dancing to that song. So I never get angry or jealous, and say that ‘Oh My God, I should have won that award or been nominated for it,” she added.
