    Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and censor board chief Prasoon Joshi have been called by a parliamentary committee in order to present their views on the controversy surrounding the Rs 150 crore film, Padmavati. According to the sources, chairman of the panel Anurag Thakur told, “The panel has asked Bhansali and Joshi to appear before it and present their views on the movie. They can present their case before the panel. The members have also decided to call the producers of the movie.”



    In the meeting scheduled on Thursday, actors Paresh Rawal and Raj Babbar will be the part of the panel which will examine the issues relating to the movie. Also, the officials of the ministry and censor board have been called by another parliamentary panel to discuss over the controversy around the film which is accused of distorting history by fringe groups.
