Box office Collection: Humari Adhuri Kahani minted Rs. 16.49 crores in 3 days

Based on Mahesh Bhatt’s parent’s life, Humari Adhuri Kahani that released on Friday sought a slow start at the box office. Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan starrer film minted 16.49 crores, over the weekend. Being solo release for the week, the movie was expected to make decent business but it seems like the Dirty Picture jodi failed to recreate the magic.

The first day collection of this Mohit Suri film was as low as Rs. 5.04 crores. On Saturday the film minted Rs. 5.15 crores. The collection on Sunday was Rs 6.30 crores. The songs of the might have been loved by the audience, but movie couldn’t match the pace.

On the other hand, Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do stood out average on the box office, collecting about Rs. 10 crores in its second week. In total, the movie has minted about Rs. 66 crores. Because of Jurassic World, there has been a great drop in the number of screens for Dil Dhadakne Do, and that perhaps affected the flick.
