Breaking the Internet: Ellen DeGeneres’ retweet record broken

Remember Carter Wilkerson? The United States boy who was trying to break Ellen DeGeneres’s retweet record of the famous star-studded Oscars Selfie.

The boy has now reached his target and the Twitter handle of Guinness World Records announced this, congratulating Carter on most number of retweeted tweet. So now, Ellen’s Oscars selfie - which broke the Internet - has been announced as second most retweeted tweet ever by #NuggsForCarter.

Twitter replied to the news elaborating: Teen sets record for most chicken nuggets eaten in one year.

Sometime back, he even asked the popular fast food chain Wendy’s, for a year-long supply of chicken nuggets for about 18 million retweets.

The news made Carter so happy that Carter took to Twitter and urged his fans for some more love. And Twitterverse responded!

Ellen, however, doesn’t mind being pushed to the second spot and tweeted in support of Carter - who is also being called Bradley Cooper lookalike by some users on Twitter.
