Dear Maya’s Trailer Shows Manish Koirala Playing An Old Lonely Women Whose Life Is Filled With Sadness

Manisha Koirala has been a popular actress of 90’s. The actress has given brilliant performances in some of the superhit movies such as, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Dil Se…, Khamoshi and others. Her performance in these movies also garnered her appreciation. Though she is a talented actress but could not get enough work after these movies.

But destiny had something else for her and she was diagnosed with cancer, which shocked everyone. The lady went away from the silver screen after her diagnoses. She survived the deadly disease and did  Chehere: A Modern Day Classic which released in 2015 but failed to gather popularity.

Now the actress is again back with a bang. She landed a strong role in Sunaina Bhatnagar’s Dear Maya where she will be seen playing an old spinster living in a desolate house alone. Recently, the poster of the film was revealed in which she was seen in a completely different avatar. And now the trailer has been released which shows her life changing after she gets letters from an unknown admirer from the past who is still in love with her. However, it is unknown to her that the letters are written by two school girls who want to bring joy in her dull life. Things take a U-turn when Maya leaves the house in search of her past lover which causes tension among the girls and they start finding her. During the process of searching her, the friendship of the two girls gets affected. But the girls do not lose hope and continue their mission of finding Maya. Looking at the trailer, it seems that the movie is remake of the Malayalam movie Pavam, Pavam Rajakumaran.

She also has a role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt where she will be seen essaying the role of Sanjay’s mother, Nargis Dutt.
