Deepika Padukone Off To Canada For ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’

After undergoing a strict exercise and diet regime in preparation for her Hollywood debut, Deepika Padukone has flown off to Canada to start the shooting of Vin Diesel starrer ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’. Revealing the news, Deepika’s boyfriend Ranveer Singh wished her all the luck during a recent award function in New Delhi. It is said that the Bajirao Mastani actress will start with the shoot of the flick in a few days.

Ranveer was quoted as saying, “Deepika we are really proud of you. Since you are leaving tonight (Tuesday) to go and shoot your action Hollywood blockbuster, we all wish you all the best. May you conquer this new frontier and make us proud as you always had”.

The actress had previously revealed that she is excited as well as nervous for this big opportunity. “I’m very excited and at the same time nervous about the film”, she had said. ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ is expected to release in 2017.
