Is This A List Bollywood Actress Playing Badminton Champ PV Sindhu In Her Biopic?

It’s just yesterday when we reported that Sonu Sood is planning to make a biopic on ace shuttler PV Sindhu. With this, Sindhu joins the bandwagon of sports personalities whose life stories are shown on screen. Last year at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu made India proud by becoming the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal in Badminton.

In a statement, Sonu said, “It feels great to make a biopic on P.V. Sindhu. It’s a story of a girl who have inspired millions of Indians and given a message that everyone can dream big and not only dream but achieve it too by working hard. It’s a journey that everyone has to know and be inspired”.

The makers are yet to zero in on a name for playing the role of PV Sindhu on the silver screens. However, actress Deepika Padukone might fit in the role perfectly as she herself is a national Badminton champion and who isn’t aware of her father Prakash Padukone, who was the badminton champion. The biopic will be launched soon.
