This Actress Has Been Roped In To Play Female Lead In John Abraham's Next

Earlier, it had been reported that John Abraham’s next is based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998. According to recent reports, model-actress Diana Penty will be seen opposite John in the upcoming film. The project will be helmed by Abhishek Sharma of Tere Bin Laden fame.

Talking about the movie, Diana was quoted as saying, “I've always wanted to be a part of stories that are compelling. The events at Pokhran were historic for India and changed the way the world perceived us. I'm fortunate to be in the team that will recreate that piece of history on screen. Both production houses are known for the variety in their content. Also, it's an exciting time to be part of the film fraternity because there are incredible stories waiting to be told”.

The movie will be jointly bankrolled by John Abraham Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment. Arjun N Kapoor of the latter film production house believes that “Diana is charming, intelligent and fits the role perfectly”. On a related note, the flick will start rolling from May 30.
