Dilip Kumar Hospitalised Due To Respiratory Problems

Veteran Actor Dilip Kumar got admitted at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday after he complained of respiratory problems.

Dr. Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital said, “I got a call that he was unwell. He had fever and had vomited a few times. He was suffering from pneumonia as well. His white blood cells had shot up. We thought it would be better to admit him to hospital,” to PTI.

Earlier Dilip Kumar’s family said that there’s nothing to worry. But, later Dr Prakar said that if he didn’t recover well in the next 48 hours”. And that the “next 72 hours are important”.

With a successful Bollywood career for over six decades, Dilip sahib gave super hits like Devdas, Mugal-e-Azam and a lot more.

Born as Mohammad Yusuf Khan, the 93 year lod legend has a lot of feathers on his cap. The original ‘tragedy king of Bollywood’, also described as ultimate method actor by Satyajit Ray. Appointed as Sheriff of Mumbai (honorary position)b in 1980, Dilip Kumar holds a Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award and so many more that he holds a record in the Guinness Book for winning maximum number of awards by an Indian actor.
