Ekta Kapoor And Smriti Irani To Colloborate?

Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was surely a game-change for Indian Television. It was the most loved show. The show made Tulsi (Smriti Irani) as well as Ekta Kapoor (the producer of the show) a household name. It started in 2000 and was the first show to be aired for the longest time till 2008.

Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Irani were best friends in TV industry until they had a fall out when Ekta replaced Smriti with Gautami Kapoor. However, Smriti’s eviction from the show resulted in low TRP’s, thereby leading Ekta bringing back Smriti after a year. And since then they have been very good friends.

They are often seen meeting together. Last year Smriti even attended Ekta Kapoor’s Diwali bash. After the birth of Tusshar Kapoor’s son, Laksshya, the two have been seen bonding more. Smriti is often seen visiting Ekta at her home to spend time with the little munchkin. Now the latest scoop that we have been hearing is that the two are often meeting to collaborate for a project.

Rumours were also doing the rounds that Smriti would appear in a cameo in Kundali Bhagya. However, that did not happen. Well, it is doubtful if Smriti will make a comeback to acting as besides being a Minister of Textiles she also has additional portfolio of Information & Broadcasting Ministry. However, speculations are rife that Ekta and Smriti would venture into production together.
